“Jord” (Earth) contains one of Chimey Lhatso´s trademark meditations. It begins with a guided relaxation that takes you on a journey through the densest part of your body, your bones, and further into the earth. The relaxation touches on themes such as creation, death, interconnectedness, and surrender. It is followed by a seated meditation guided by visualizations riding on the natural breath through your spine.

The soothing accompanying music has been tried out live with many students who loved it long before this album was recorded. The music for Jord is composed and performed on cello, piano, and electronic glass piano by the acknowledged and warmhearted musician Gertrud Stenung.

The EP Mothers & Strangers is an international production born in the Indian Himalayas and molded into completion in Sweden and the USA. All mantras and prayers are traditional Buddhist originals, performed in Tibetan and Sanskrit and wrapped in a personal R&B/electro flavor. Music that is brought to life from a place of care and devotion from beginning to end.

This album is dedicated to the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
