My Story – Short Version
I’m Victoria Chimey Victoré, a.k.a Lama Chimey—an authorized Lama, Dharma and meditation teacher, ceremony leader, writer, and speaker based in Stockholm, Sweden.
My career began in the world of media, performing arts, and entrepreneurship. As one of the early television hosts on Swedish Channel 4, I worked at the forefront of public communication and creativity. Yet, alongside this journey, a deeper spiritual calling grew steadily stronger—until it could no longer be ignored.
I eventually left a familiar and successful professional life to fully dedicate myself to Buddhist training and service. My monastic years took me across the Himalayas and North America, where I engaged in long-term retreats, in-depth study, and sacred pilgrimages. I became a fully ordained nun, and have in recent years continued my path as a lay teacher.
Today, I integrate traditional Buddhist wisdom with accessible, contemporary formats that resonate with modern audiences. My offerings include digital courses, guided meditations IRL & online, leadership coaching, ceremonial services, and public speaking—each grounded in authenticity and deep training.
I’ve also produced original music and meditation albums that blend voice, sound, and contemplative guidance. These works form part of my wider offering. My main brand is Triyana® Meditation—a meditation path that draws from all three major Buddhist traditions to support transformation and clarity.
A pivotal experience in my twenties—surviving a serious medical crisis—deepened my personal understanding of impermanence and continues to inform my teaching. It also inspired Journey through the Bones, a guided relaxation available as a recording in English & Swedish.
